SSC chairman Siddharth Majumdar apologizes to the court

School Service Commission Chairman (SSC Chairman) Siddhartha Majumdar went to Calcutta High Court on Friday to appear in the contempt of court case. Siddhartha apologizes to the court.

He said, 'We have made a mistake in interpreting the court's order.' Siddhartha Majumdar said that the experts of Jadavpur University had examined the accounts. They reviewed the accounts of the English and Child Development and Pedagogy departments and gave a report.

The Jadavpur report was received last night. Not all of them have been investigated. Based on the SSC chairman's statement, the case has been adjourned till Friday for further investigation. The SSC will examine the report of the experts within that period.

It is to be noted that in 2011, there was a problem centered around the Upper Primary TET examination. A case was pending in the High Court regarding the non-marking of candidates for non-syllabus questions in that examination. The case was before the bench of Justice Rajasekhar Mantha.

The Chairman of the School Service Commission was summoned to the High Court today as to why the marks were not given even after Justice Mantha's order. The court ordered the SSC chairman to personally appear today to give an explanation after seeing the attitude of cutting his pass even after the court's order.

Siddharth Majumder apologized by appearing in the High Court. He admitted that there was a mistake in the interpretation of the court order. The School Service Commission informed the court that 63 out of 83 people have undergone personality tests or interviews. In the case of 43 of them, preparations have been made to give recommendation letters. A list of vacant posts has been sought from the board.

It is to be noted that there is a controversy regarding the application of three of the litigants in the court. There is controversy over the booklet series and OMR sheets submitted by them. The court directed that they should go to the SSC lawyer's office next week and try to resolve the controversy.
